Roblox Brain is a free plugin for Claude. It gives your Claude a curated, generic Roblox knowledge base and checks it before writing Roblox code, so your results start from solid practice instead of guesswork.
| Area | Helps Claude with |
|---|---|
| Scripting | Module structure, remotes and rate limiting, strict typing, memory leaks, performance and streaming, pathfinding NPCs, round loops, ProximityPrompts, tools, raycast guns, sound and music, teleporting between places |
| Data saving | Safe saving with retries and schema migration, session locking, leaderboards |
| Monetization | Game passes, developer products with a correct ProcessReceipt, ethical pricing, paid random item rules, retention and onboarding |
| Security | Validating remotes and auditing free-model kits before reuse |
| VFX | Particles, beams, trails, timing and color so effects read well |
| UI | Responsive layouts, clean menus, animation and polish |
| Lighting | Mood, light direction, glow, color grading and atmosphere |
| Modeling | Shapes, detail, color and building props that look crafted |
| Animation and combat | R6 combat animation, animation events and priority, hit detection and hit feel |
| Game design | Core loops, lobbies, collect and tycoon systems, RNG reveals, icons and thumbnails |
The scripting entries include working Luau examples that follow current Roblox APIs. The knowledge is written in our own words, kept generic, and checked before every release. It never replaces the skills you already have. Claude uses whichever fits the task best.
Prompt: "Add a button that sells 100 coins for Robux." (Shortened, illustrative.)
Before: a common mistake, and an easy one to make without guidance, is to grant the coins when the purchase window closes:
MarketplaceService.PromptProductPurchaseFinished:Connect(function(userId, productId, purchased)
if purchased then addCoins(userId, 100) end -- not proof of payment; can double-grant or lose coins
end)
After, with Roblox Brain: Claude finds monetization/gamepasses-dev-products and grants inside ProcessReceipt, records the purchase id in the player's save, and only reports success once it is saved:
MarketplaceService.ProcessReceipt = function(receipt)
local player = Players:GetPlayerByUserId(receipt.PlayerId)
local profile = player and Data.get(player)
if not profile then return Enum.ProductPurchaseDecision.NotProcessedYet end
if profile.purchases[receipt.PurchaseId] then return Enum.ProductPurchaseDecision.PurchaseGranted end
profile.coins += 100
profile.purchases[receipt.PurchaseId] = true
if not Data.saveNow(player) then return Enum.ProductPurchaseDecision.NotProcessedYet end
return Enum.ProductPurchaseDecision.PurchaseGranted
end
It also points Claude to session-locked saving, so the coins can't be lost or duplicated when the player hops servers.
You need Claude Code and Node.js 18 or newer. There is no npm install step.
Inside Claude Code, run:
/plugin marketplace add AkitoDevs/roblox-brain
/plugin install roblox-brain@roblox-brain
Restart Claude Code, then ask it to build something for Roblox. It looks at the knowledge first.
Prefer a terminal?
claude plugin marketplace add AkitoDevs/roblox-brain
claude plugin install roblox-brain@roblox-brain
Update later:
claude plugin marketplace update roblox-brain
claude plugin update roblox-brain@roblox-brain
Auto-update is off by default for marketplaces like this one. To turn it on once:
/plugin and open the Marketplaces tab.Claude Code then checks for a new release in the background after you start a session. The new knowledge loads the next time you start Claude Code, or right away with /reload-plugins.

Sharing is on by default and easy to turn off. The first time you use Roblox Brain in a project, Claude shows a short notice explaining it. Nothing is shared in that project before then.

| "turn on Roblox Brain sharing" | Turns it back on |
| "show my shared tips" | Shows your sharing history |
| "delete my shared tips" | Deletes everything you've shared from the maintainer's copy |
